To report that you are staying home to care for a sick child (VAB), complete our form and select VAB.
When you return, complete the form again to confirm that you have resumed your assignment.
As your employer during the assignment, we report VAB information each month as part of the employer PAYE return.
The Swedish Tax Agency then transfers the information to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan), which may use it when checking VAB benefit payments.
You report VAB to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, which then uses the information we report for its checks.
This is subject to the conditions below being met and the documents being completed correctly and in full.
- VAB must be reported within a reasonable time.
- Pre-register the specific assignment using the assignment pre-registration form.
- VAB is processed only for the days and hours when you would have worked through WorkNode Freelance AB.
- On the day you take VAB, notify your client and complete the Sickness, return-to-work and VAB report.
- When you return to work, report this using the Sickness, return-to-work and VAB report.
- When you want us to report your VAB, submit the request on the Sick pay application page.
