Application for sick pay

As your employer on assignment, we are responsible for days 2 to 14 of your sick pay provided the following conditions are met and the documents are correctly and fully completed. After that, the insurance fund handles your case. Worknode applies a waiting period.

• In the event of illness, you must report sick to your employer on the same day and via Sickness and Health Report

• Sick pay is 80% of your gross salary for the assignment, with tax deducted as required by law.

• The application for sickness benefit must be made within a reasonable time.

• Your specific assignment must be pre-notified via the Pre-notification form

• You must have worked for Worknode Freelance AB for 14 consecutive days prior to the illness.
  In the case of employment of less than one month, these are counted together provided that the gap between two work dates is not greater than 14 days. Please note that sick pay is only processed for the days and hours you would have worked via Worknode Freelance AB.

• From day 8 of the sick leave period, you must have submitted a valid medical certificate. Worknode may decide to require a medical certificate from day one.

• When you are back in service, you will be notified via Sickness and Health Notification

• When you apply for sick pay, you need to fill in all the information in the sick pay application form
