These terms apply to WorkNode's “Refer a Friend” referral programme (the “Programme”).

The Programme allows existing WorkNode users (the “Referrer”) to invite new users (the “Friend”) using a personal code.

When the Friend begins using WorkNode in accordance with the terms below, both the Referrer and the Friend receive a financial benefit.

WorkNode may adjust or terminate the Programme at any time. Changes do not apply retroactively to discounts or compensation already earned.

When the Friend:

creates a WorkNode account; and

uses the Referrer's personal code when creating their first invoice,

the Friend receives:

SEK 995 off WorkNode fees; and

a 0% WorkNode fee until the total SEK 995 discount has been used.

The discount:

applies whether the Friend uses FLEX or PRO;

is automatically deducted from the WorkNode fee on the Friend's first invoice until a total of SEK 995 has been used; and

is available only to new users who have not previously had a WorkNode account (unless expressly stated otherwise).

When the Friend uses the Referrer's personal code and begins using WorkNode, the Referrer may receive:

SEK 500 when the Friend becomes a referred friend (see definition below); and

an additional SEK 500 when the Friend becomes a referred PRO friend (see definition below).

The Referrer may therefore receive up to SEK 1,000 per Friend.

Payment:

Compensation to the Referrer is credited as a balance in the Referrer's WorkNode account.

The referral balance can then be used under WorkNode's ordinary terms, for example by requesting a salary payment from the account.

A referred friend qualifies when all the following conditions have been met:

the Friend has created a WorkNode account;

the Friend has created an invoice in WorkNode;

the Friend entered the Referrer's personal code on their first invoice, in accordance with the instructions; and

the invoice has been paid.

Only then is the SEK 500 compensation released to the Referrer.

A referred PRO friend qualifies when:

the Friend has upgraded their account to WorkNode PRO; and

the upgrade is active under WorkNode's ordinary terms.

When this occurs, the additional SEK 500 compensation is released to the Referrer, irrespective of when the first invoice was paid, provided the Friend was linked to the Referrer's code from the outset.

The Referrer receives a personal promotional code in their WorkNode account.

The Friend must enter this code when creating their first invoice.

If the code is entered incorrectly or is not entered until a later invoice, the discount and compensation may be forfeited.

WorkNode is not responsible for a code that is entered incorrectly or forgotten.

The Referrer may not refer themselves or an account belonging to the same person.

The Programme is intended for genuine recommendations to real freelancers and consultants.

The offer cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts unless otherwise stated.

WorkNode may limit the number of rewards per Referrer if it considers this necessary, for example where misuse or an unnaturally high volume is suspected.

WorkNode may deny or revoke a discount and/or compensation if we determine that the Programme is being misused, for example through:

fake accounts or self-referrals;

attempts to circumvent the terms; or

other use contrary to WorkNode's general terms or the purpose of the Programme.

In the event of serious misuse, the account may be closed and earned rewards frozen or removed.

To administer the Programme, WorkNode processes personal data, for example to:

link the Referrer and Friend to the correct code;

calculate and allocate discounts; and

calculate and allocate compensation to the Referrer.

Processing takes place in accordance with WorkNode's Privacy Policy.
