How we calculate

Same amount, same period

We compare the same invoicing, excluding VAT, for one month.

The service fee in kronor

A percentage fee and a fixed price are both shown as a cost in kronor.

The difference in fee and salary

A lower service fee is not the same as a change in net pay. Tax and employer contributions still affect what is paid to your account.

The example is one month and amounts excluding VAT. It is not a yearly saving. WorkNode FLEX costs 3.95% per invoice. WorkNode PRO costs SEK 995 per month even in months without invoicing and has a 6 or 12-month commitment. Frilans Finans is compared at 6% and Cool Company at 5.98%. Prices were checked 5 augusti 2026.

Three steps

Switch in three steps

Invoices that have already been sent stay with the service that sent them. Start with your next assignment.

  1. Bring WorkNode in before you agree

WorkNode should be the contracting party before you agree the fee. If the assignment has already started, or the price is already agreed, ask support before you move it.

  2. Tell the client who will invoice

The client needs to know that WorkNode sends the invoice and which payment details apply. They may need to register WorkNode as a supplier and add a reference. The client does not need an account.

  3. Get paid after the client has paid

WorkNode reviews the assignment and sends the invoice. Gross salary is not the amount paid to your account. Salary is normally paid within 1–2 banking days after the client has paid.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about switching

What changes with the next invoice, what you tell the client, and when the first salary is paid.

Switching

Do I have to cancel my current service first?

No. You can compare and create an account without cancelling anything. Before you invoice through WorkNode, check the subscription, commitment period and assignment terms with your current service. A new account does not end those commitments.

Ask support
What happens to invoices that have already been sent?

They stay with the service that sent them. You do not need to move them to WorkNode. Check that service’s terms for payment and closing the account.

What do I need to tell the client?

That WorkNode Freelance AB will send the next invoice, with WorkNode’s payment details. Ask whether they need to register WorkNode as a supplier and whether the invoice needs a reference. The assignment itself stays the same.

Copy the message
Does the client need an account?

No. The client receives and pays the invoice without a WorkNode account.

Can I use WorkNode for an assignment that has already started?

Ask support first. WorkNode should be the contracting party before you agree the fee. Work that is already agreed or already done should not be moved unless support has said it can.
