WorkNode or Frilans Finans?

WorkNode FLEX costs 3.95% of the invoice amount excluding VAT. WorkNode PRO costs SEK 995 per month with no percentage invoice fee. Frilans Finans states 4–6%, where the loyalty programme can lower the fee. Compare using the percentage you actually pay.

At SEK 50,000 in monthly invoicing excluding VAT, WorkNode PRO costs SEK 995. At Frilans Finans, 6% is a fee of SEK 3,000 and 4% is a fee of SEK 2,000. The difference in service fee is therefore SEK 2,005 and SEK 1,005 for the month. PRO’s commitment period also needs to be included.

At SEK 50,000 excluding VAT, the difference between 4% and the FLEX fee of 3.95% is only SEK 25. With PRO the service fee is instead SEK 1,005 lower for the month. A switch should therefore be judged from your invoicing, the subscription cost and the features you use — especially payout before the client’s payment.

If you pay 6% at Frilans Finans, the break-even point against PRO is about SEK 16,584 per month excluding VAT. At 4% it is SEK 24,875. Above each level PRO has a lower service fee for the month. Compare the whole subscription period and account for months without invoicing.

The payout models differ. Frilans Finans states that salary is normally paid within five banking days of the invoice being created, before the client’s payment, after approval and with some exceptions. WorkNode’s normal payout happens after the client’s payment. If you need the money before the invoice is due, this is an important part of the comparison.

Compare both the money paid to your account and the amount set aside for pension. Frilans Finans describes pension contributions for some age groups. In WorkNode’s salary calculator you can enter a pension contribution. Use comparable settings: money saved for your pension is not the same thing as a service fee.

No. WorkNode FLEX has no commitment period and no fixed monthly fee. Frilans Finans also describes its standard service without a commitment period. WorkNode PRO is a subscription with a 6 or 12 month commitment. Choose the setup based on how regularly you invoice.

Start with a new assignment and connect it to WorkNode before you agree the payment with the client. Check the client’s supplier details and tell them the invoice will come from WorkNode. Invoices already sent and the related payouts are normally handled onwards at Frilans Finans.
